Edward Eyre is one of Australia’s great explorers. He explored a large portion of Australia while overlanding cattle to Melbourne and Australia and found Lake Eyre in northern South Australia. His most notable, and most dangerous, expedition was across the Nullarbor from Streaky Bay to Albany.

This flip book is a great activity to allow students to conduct their own research, either individually or in pairs. They will gain an interesting overview of Edward Eyre and his adventures and discoveries. Alternatively, it could be used as a homework activity or as part of your morning routine.
