The story of Ludwig Leichhardt is surrounded by mystery and intrigue and is one of the most interesting figures in Australia’s exploration and students love to learn about his expedition and disappearance.
After being enthralled by the story “A Campfire Encounter,” students will be able to demonstrate their understanding of the story and create their own theories about Leichhardt’s disappearance. They will also be able to compare Leichhardt’s character traits and analyse his character further by completing the Character Trait foldable.
