More than 3000 nurses served as part of the Australian Army Nursing Service in World War One. Some felt the need to serve their country, others were looking for adventure or an opportunity to travel overseas. What they were faced with was beyond anything they could imagine – makeshift hospitals, little or no training, poor supplies and more casualties than they were equipped to handle. Their service and sacrifice are worthy of commemoration and this resource pack is the perfect solution to helping your students develop an understanding and appreciation for the courageous and dedicated service of the Australian Army Nurses.

This pack includes:

♦ Mini-unit Title Page
♦ Unique comprehension text and Red Cross question foldable
♦ The Rose of No Man’s Land lyric analysis and review
♦ Australian Army Nurse Medal Design
